How many students from India, sit at the IMO (International Mathematics Olympiad)?

Well, I have not studied a bit, and took part in the 2nd IMO (International Mathematics Olympiad) .. I got 18,250 rank or something ……… just wanted to know how many students sitting in the examination, and this is my beautiful place? I mean, many students studying worse than I did a better place … SO just wanted to know …. I am in the 9th, if it can help …

Olympics, etc. are not really matter classification by you. I guess 18,000 is a decent ranking. Not too many people (from South India) to take the exam, AFAIK.
