Need help with my lesson plan?
OK so I have to prepare a lesson plan art, and I chose a painting idea Marple lesson plan that goes with having students create their own Jackson Pollock. The last part of the lesson plan ask me to integrate this lesson plan for other program areas as language arts, mathematics, social sciences, and science? Does anyone has any ideas what I can integrate this lesson plan, other than the simple story of Jackson Pollock.
I'm not sure the age of the students, but these suggestions can be varied. Social Studies: timeline, a comparison of the surrealists, expressionists, professions, ages compared in terms of what art reveals about the people not only maths artist, space, size, symmetry, reflection, surface, irregular shapes created literary relations between parts of the composition, writing styles, vocabulary: mural surreal, expressionist, abstract painting; what the "ist" ending suggests the word and by example word family. Express, expression, expressive. Values education: meetings reflection on self, choices made and how to make choices, self-acceptance
